Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming SABC’s show Stories Untold to our Z2B Aquaponics Farm. The show visited us to share the story of our initiative and highlight the transformative power of sustainable farming in townships. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase how aquaponics can address food security while creating business opportunities in our communities.

The episode featured an insightful interview with our fish farmer, Lufuno Sylvester Mamathuntsha, who shared his journey and passion for aquaponics, along with the benefits it brings to both local farming and the environment. Lufuno’s dedication and expertise have been instrumental in driving our initiative forward, making him a vital part of the Z2B family.

I, Banele Rewo, the founder of Z2B Aquaponics and Meat Wholesale, was also interviewed to share the broader vision behind our initiative. It was a chance to discuss how we are building sustainable solutions that not only provide fresh, locally grown produce but also educate and empower our community. Through this feature, we aim to inspire others to explore innovative ways of farming and push the boundaries of what’s possible in township spaces.

We are grateful to Stories Untold for capturing our story and bringing it to a wider audience. Stay tuned for the airing of the episode, and keep supporting sustainable farming and local entrepreneurship!

Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we continue to grow.
