Your 20’s are an age of extremes as a young man. You get the happiest when you are happy and saddest when you are sad. Heartbreak, partying, career fails and wins. Many begin relationships of their dreams and before 30 divorce is on the cards. Many struggle to make ends meet and by the time they are 29 they are rich and doing well.

So many things happened in the lives of all the individuals in the photo from the day this photo was taken. The best thing however is that everyone is doing well, and alive. I am grateful that everyone here made it through the 20’s with everything in us and things lost in the process.
It’s a whirlwind! Here are some things to put at the back of your mind and I hope one day you will feel like a feel today looking at this image.
1. Hit the gym
Working out in the gym will give you:
• More self-belief
• More confidence
• A better physique
• Better focus in the day
• Discipline within yourself
The gym is where you can get rid of emotions, hate and negative thoughts that you’re feeling.
2. Stay away from debt
Going into debt doesn’t just affect your finance.
It increases your:
• Future problems
• Anxiety
• Stress
Going into debt also disrupts sleep, and can have a negative influence on general well-being.
3. Learn a few skills that can be leveraged
“Degrees won’t make you rich. Skills will.”
There is such a high demand for online skills in 2022.
Skills like:
• Copywriting
• Digital Marketing
Can make you rich if you study, learn and implement them
4. Leverage your social media
Social media is extremely powerful.
It is the most powerful form of marketing and can be used to make you R100,000 per month.
– Choose a niche you enjoy
– Study and learn that niche
– Build and grow an audience
– Teach/sell your knowledge online
5. Don’t give a fuck about the opinions of others
Lao Tzu once said;
“Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.”
Prioritise yourself, and stop giving a f*ck.
You deserve happiness and to be free from toxic/negative people.
6. Prioritise your health
You only have one body, so take care of it.
– Workout
– Eat healthy
– Stay hydrated
– Go for long walks
Taking care of your physical health will also have a huge, and positive effect on your mental health.
7. Embrace failure
You don’t lose.
Either you win, or you learn.
Failure will help you grow into a better, wiser and mature person.
8. Stop trying to fit in
You were born with:
• Your looks
• Your height
• Your accent
For a reason!
“Stop trying to fit in, because an original is worth so much more than a copy.”
You’re unique! That’s one of your powers!
9. A baby is not just a baby
Children are great life changers and milestones but:
• They are expensive
• You cannot back out once they are born
• You can have children in your 30’s and 40’s or 50’s
Give yourself a chance to have a baby in an environment that will enable you to grow and nurture them too.
